The proposed apartment building for the back of our property was approved in a 3-2 vote at city council’s planning committee last week. City staff recommended against it, citing the value of the woods and wetland. but Coun. Shawn Lewis’s argument on the need for housing won out. Now it’s on to full city council for the final vote.

Ascension and St. Mark’s Anglican Churches invite you to join in the discussion Harvest Hands. HARVEST HANDS is a non-profit food distribution centre dedicated to “rescuing food from bakers to retailers to help agencies and thousands of families throughout Southwestern Ontario. Funded entirely by donations and volunteer-driven, Harvest Hands provides food to over 200 organizations, agencies, and missions, who in turn, feed over 60,000 meals per month. Individuals and families seeking food assistance. If you are involved with any type of food security ministry, you will want to attend this presentation on February 29, 2024, 7 to 9 PM at Church of the Ascension, 2060 Dundas Street East, London.
