The proposed apartment building for the back of our property was approved in a 3-2 vote at city council’s planning committee last week. City staff recommended against it, citing the value of the woods and wetland. but Coun. Shawn Lewis’s argument on the need for housing won out. Now it’s on to full city council for the final vote.

On Easter Sunday (2024), a beautiful new baptismal font was blessed at Ascension. It was a gift of Maureen Constable and her late twin sister Pat Constable. Maureen is shown here with her niece Tina.

HARVEST HANDS is a non-profit food distribution centre dedicated to “rescuing food from bakers to retailers to help agencies and thousands of families throughout Southwestern Ontario. Funded entirely by donations and volunteer-driven, Harvest Hands provides food to over 200 organizations, agencies, and missions, who in turn, feed over 60,000 meals per month. Individuals and families seeking food assistance.
