Finally (!) after years and years of hard work and hoping by Ascension and many others, London city council has approved the rezoning of the back of our property to allow for the construction of an apartment building. That means the sale of the back half of our property to the developer can be completed, probably in October. The developer has invested a huge amount in time and money to get the project to this point. Ascension also thanks Coun. Shawn Lewis for his persuasive skills in bringing 13 of the 14 council members onside to support needed apartments in East London.
